Joined Kokuyo Co., Ltd. in 2001.
After serving as Representative Director of Kokuyo Furniture Co., Ltd. and Executive Managing Director of Kokuyo Co., Ltd., he was appointed as Representative Director and President of Kokuyo Co., Ltd. in 2015, and has held his current position since 2024.
In 2021, he formulated the "Long-term Vision CCC2030," which includes expanding business domains and reviewing corporate culture and organizational/human resource approaches.
He announced the goal of achieving sales of 500 billion yen by 2030 through the realization of a "Forest-Like Management Model." In 2025, the company celebrated its 120th anniversary and set the corporate message to "Curiosity is Life."
Since 2024, he has served as a judge for the design category of the ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS.
