Misaki Tanaka is a Tokyo-based designer and activist specializing in participatory and inclusive design, and the founder of PROJECT SOLIT. She leads product development and organizational design rooted in diversity, collaborating with companies, governments, and universities both in Japan and internationally. Tanaka has received multiple international design awards and shares her work through her book Wearing Extraordinary Kindness, as well as through academic presentations and global conferences. She currently heads the DEI Design at Panasonic Design HQ, advancing inclusive and transformative design practices across organizations.
