Yukiko Ozaki began her career as a systems engineer at a Japanese cosmetics manufacturer, then worked at two global securities firms. She joined Nomura Securities in 2008 and currently, as CHRO of Nomura Holdings, oversees the Group’s HR strategy, the HRBP function, talent development (recruitment and learning/development), and HR policy/system design. She also leads Group-wide initiatives in DEI, Culture & Engagement, and drives efforts to put our Purpose into action, with a strong focus on strengthening governance and enhancing employee engagement. As CHO, she positions employees’ physical and mental well-being as the foundation for enhancing corporate value, led the adoption of the “NOMURA Health & Productivity Declaration Statement” in 2016, and promotes Group-wide initiatives to maintain and enhance employee health.
