Accessibility in Tokyo

Tokyo is considered one of the most accessible cities in the world for people with disabilities. Over 95% of Tokyo's train stations are accessible and the JR-East Railway Company and Tokyo Metro offer a well-organized service for wheelchair users. The bus system is also mostly wheelchair accessible. In addition to this, many streets are paved with raised yellow tiles for those with a visual impairment.
